Not always. Our four grades exist so buyers can be compared on one scale, but each buyer sets and applies its own criteria. Check that buyer's condition requirements on their site before you complete the sale, because their grading is what determines your final payment.

Lenses, controllers and hygiene
Lens condition is one of the first things a buyer checks, since it is the part you look through. Scratches cannot be polished out, and trying damages the coating. The common causes are sunlight burn, where sun through the lenses focuses onto the display, and glasses rubbing the lenses. Visible marks usually move a headset out of Flawless and often out of Good, so describe them accurately when you choose a grade. The buyer regrades on arrival under its own criteria, and that grading sets what you are paid.
Most buyers quote a headset with its controllers, and a headset on its own is usually a separate, lower paying listing or is not accepted. Quote what you will actually send, since declaring controllers and omitting them is the usual cause of a revised offer. For controllers that take AA batteries, remove them first, because leaked cells corrode the contacts. Include the charging cable and power adapter unless the buyer's page says otherwise. Elite straps, link cables and prescription inserts are optional, and most buyers do not price them.
